These Terms of Service apply to your use of www.excitephysio.com and to text messages and other communications from Excite Physiotherapy. By using our website, booking an appointment, or opting in to our messages, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Our Services

Excite Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy and massage therapy at 105 Collier St, Barrie, Ontario, and virtual physiotherapy across Ontario. Information on this website is general education, not medical advice. It does not replace an assessment by a qualified healthcare provider. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

Text Messages (SMS)

  • Program: Excite Physiotherapy sends text messages to people who opt in through the consent boxes on our website forms. There are two separate consents: one for appointment messages (booking confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and follow-up after your visit) and one for promotional messages (clinic news, events, and appointment availability). You can agree to either, both, or neither.
  • Opt-in: by providing your mobile number and checking a consent box, you agree to receive the type of text messages that box describes from Excite Physiotherapy. Consent is not a condition of booking or receiving care.
  • Message frequency: message frequency varies.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After you send STOP, we will send one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at info@excitephysio.com or (705) 279-2759.
  • Carriers: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and other factors outside our control.
  • Privacy: mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Age Requirement

You must be 18 or older to opt in to text messages from Excite Physiotherapy. For patients under 18, a parent or guardian can opt in using their own mobile number.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the clinic, such as our booking, messaging, and website providers, and they must keep it confidential. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Health Information and Consent

By booking a service, you consent to the collection of health information needed to provide your care. You can withdraw or limit that consent at any time. Your health information is collected and stored under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA) and our Privacy Policy.

Website Use

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, try to gain unauthorized access to our website or systems, or copy, distribute, or modify content from our website without our written permission. All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, belongs to Excite Physiotherapy or its licensors.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page. Continuing to use our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
