CrossFit and Training Injuries

CrossFit and Interval Training Injuries

Are you suffering from a CrossFit injury, or an another high-intensive interval training injury? Looking for treatment, and to learn about injury prevention?

CrossFit is a high-intensity fitness program that incorporates elements from various disciplines, including weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio. t aims to promote overall physical fitness by focusing on functional movements performed at high intensity. Workouts, known as WODs (Workout of the Day), are constantly varied and typically short, ranging from intense interval training to heavy lifting sessions. CrossFit workouts often include exercises such as squats, deadlifts, pull-ups, burpees, and kettlebell swings, among others.

CrossFit and other high-intensity interval training workouts are notoriously known for causing injuries. This doesn’t have to be the case. Often pieces are missing in the athletes’ training program. We identify these issues and work toward your training goals. Uniquely, we do our best to allow you to continue to train while rehabilitating your injury.

Injury Treatment & Prevention

We may have to make modifications, but we want you in the gym just as much as you want to be there. It’s important to find exercises that you can do and to keep moving, and work towards not just treatment, but training injury prevention.

Movement assessment for healthy athletes, and athletes without pain. This can help identify limitations before they turn into injuries. By finding and fixing faulty movement patterns we can help you to train and perform at higher levels.
